By MARK MCCALLUMPublished Dec. 17, 2018 11:32:27The band BagPiper has been performing the songs “Weird Holiday” from their upcoming album for nearly 20 years.

Now, the group is hoping to get the song on the radio in 2017.

The group says it’s a tribute to the musical icon Bob Mccallums life and he passed away at age 94.

“Bob Mccalls legacy is being reflected in the music we make, and we are honored to be able to play this timeless classic,” Bagpipers band manager Andrew Henson said in a statement.

“We’re honored to play Bob’s song on a nationally televised holiday for the first time.”

Bagpiper has performed this year on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and on “Late Night With Seth Meyers.”

They’re planning to play the song during the Christmas season.
